LAS VEGAS (CelebrityAccess) — Celine Dion announced that her manager Aldo Giampaolo has resigned from his role on her team.

Dion said that Giampaolo was resigning for personal and family reasons and did not identify a replacement. Giampaolo had been serving as Dion's manager since 2014, after her longtime manager and husband René Angélil became ill.

In a statement released to the press, Dion said:

"I sincerely appreciate all that Aldo has done for me and respect his decision to resign," she said.

"I wish him the best in his future endeavours."

Before stepping in to a management role with Dion, Giampaolo has previously held senior posts at Quebecor, where he oversaw their Sports & Entertainment unit, as well as Cirque du Sole, where he lead their Theatre Shows New Business team.

Dion is currently performing in a long-running residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, with the current round of dates concluding in June. – Staff Writers
