Former Cake Drummer Sentenced In Molestation Case

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Peter Ivan McNeal a former drummer with the Alt-rock band Cake, is facing a sentence of 15-years-to-life in prison after molesting a three-year-old girl in 2009.

According to Billboard, McNeal was sentenced in Los Angeles on one count of oral copulation of a child 10-years-old or younger, after being found guilty by a jury in March last year. A previous trial over the abuse incident had been declared a mistrial.

The incident occurred at a Thanksgiving party in Los Angeles 2009 where McNeal was a guest. He had been previously charged and sentenced to three years probation in another incident of attempted molestation while volunteering at a Los Angeles school.
