In the last few years, we have been watching Jennifer Lawrence in amazing movies such as the Hunger Games saga, Silver Linings Playbook – which, gave her an Oscar for best actress in 2013 – and American Hustle, the last two directed by David O. Rusell.
And now, coming this December, we get to see these two work together in a new brand movie.
“JOY”, is a movie about a woman who creates a whole business empire from the scratch. Everything from the beginning of her life, love, rough paths, emotions getting in the way of success, a bit of feminist back on the days and the struggle of facing a world of unforgiving commerce.
And as you could imagine, Jennifer Lawrence gets the lead role of Joy, while working along great stars such as Robert De Niro, Bradley Cooper, Isabella Rossellini, Diane Ladd, and Virginia Madsen.
The movie is set to premiere on December 25th of this year and while we are only months away from it, we seriously can’t contain our excitement to watch it. If you haven’t seen the trailer, go and check it out – that way, you will understand why we are a mess of feelings right now.
