YoungBoy Never Broke Again has dropped the veil on his ongoing feud with Joe Budden. According to the Baton Rouge, La. artist, they never had an issue and wanted to stir up drama to build hype for their upcoming interview.

“Joe Budden, I love you bro,” the 24-year-old rapper said in an Instagram video posted on Wednesday (Dec. 6). “They ain’t understand our plot twist. It was strictly for [us] to do an interview after that. Tell ’em don’t take us too serious. Everything entertainment, man.”

YoungBoy sported a huge smile in the video as he sat atop a horse. The rest of his post shows him riding horses and snowmobiles with his two children. Check out the post below.

Joe Budden and NBA YoungBoy’s feud began after Budden dissed the rapper on the Dec. 2 episode of his eponymous podcast. “That ni**a’s trash,” the retired rapper said. “He is horrible. He is really, really, really, really, really bad.”

The “Nevada” rapper fired back in a video, saying, “Don’t speak on me. I don’t play that sh*t. Don’t rat on me neither, you pu**y bi**h… Bi**h, you do all them interviews, come on to Gravedigger Mountain and talk to me, ni**a. Bi**h, if you can’t do that, mayne, hey, you bi**h-made ni**a. Shut your f**kin’ mouth!”

Budden responded during a Spaces session on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Monday (Dec. 4) and claimed that he is “way bigger” than the Sincerely, Kentrell artist. “I just wanna say, I’m way bigger than him. Stop this,” he said. “Dawg, you young idiots get fooled by these label metrics and these digital tricks. Would you like me to read you the numbers on YoungBoy’s last six projects? Alright. I mean, I don’t want to. I didn’t think I had to do this. ‘Cause I’m sure someone here is recording.”

Naturally, fans debated whether Joe Budden being bigger than YoungBoy Never Broke Again was true and were interested in the feud continuing. However, Budden chose to be the bigger person and apologized during the Wednesday (Dec. 6) episode of The Joe Budden Podcast. “I owe NBA YoungBoy an apology,” he said. “There’s a much better way to articulate what you’re tryna say.”

It is unclear when their interview is set to drop, but evidently, all is well between the two polarizing figures.
