Rowe's Wharf and the Old BRB&L Railroad Ferry Terminal

June 2024 ยท 1 minute read

Images of the old Boston, Revere Beach & Lynn Railroad in Boston. The first image is of the ferry depot at Rowe's Wharf in Boston. The old Atlantic Avenue elevated loop had a stop at Rowe's Wharf, with the stairwell visible in front of the building. Passengers would take the ferry to East Boston, then board a train that passed under Webster Street through a tunnel, and then head north to Winthrop, Revere, and Lynn.
